How Does a Wi-Fi Site Survey Work?
NGST Wireless conducts Wi-Fi site surveys by walking the facility with professional RF survey equipment to measure the wireless environment throughout the required coverage areas. Survey data is analyzed to identify coverage gaps, interference, noise, channel utilization, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), roaming performance and other RF issues. The results are then used to optimize access point locations, channel allocation and transmit power.

Based on the findings, we develop an optimization plan covering AP placement, channel allocation, transmit power and other configuration improvements, followed by validation where required.
